![]() ![]() This addition is useful to customers who have the Architecture, Engineering & Construction Collection. ![]() As AutoCADĀ® Electrical is project based, the user can break down their floors into different drawings and still have cabling connected across multiple drawings with cross reference information. Subsequently through the comprehensive reporting tools, the user can produce from/to lists, bills of materials etc. CAD blocks are named groups of objects that act as a single 2D or 3D object. Where it differs from AutoCAD MEP however, is that the symbols can be wired up meaning the user can lay their cables around the floorplan and connect the equipment. This enables the user to take an architectural room layout and place electrical symbols down. In an electrical blueprint, symbols are used on electrical drawings to make drafting easier for both drafters and workers interpreting the drawings. Not available within the standard installation of AutoCADĀ® Electrical and only available from Cadline within the latest Cadline Localiser, the ARC library has been specifically developed for the architectural schematic requirements.
